Paul Frederick Drexler, 83 passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 7, 2012. He was unselfishly devoted to his family and his religion. Throughout his life he was a gifted athlete and had a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Paul was the son of Raymond & Agnes (Danaher) Drexler of Akron, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph and brother, Raymond and is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Elizabeth Jane; son, Daniel (Genevieve); daughters, Paula, Linda (John), Laura (Robert); daughter-in-law, Jeanne; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Robert and William and sisters Irene and Rita. Friends may call at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry (Rt.93, Canal Fulton) on Friday, April 13, 2012 from 1pm to 3 pm with a memorial service to begin at 3 pm and burial to follow at Clinton Cemetery. The family will be together for a mass at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Doylestown at 5 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2012 and all are welcome. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to the Paul Drexler Memorial Scholarship Fund at Archbishop Hoban High School, One Holy Cross Blvd., Akron, OH 44308.
