Paulette Marie Holland, 66 of New Franklin, passed away Aug. 7 at home from a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Barberton, Ohio she was preceded in death by her mom Frances Schlernitzauer. She is survived by the loves of her life, husband Greg of 46 years and their black lab Boomer. She is survived by her dad Herbert Schlernitzauer of Kimbolton, OH, siblings Tim Schlernitzauer of Canton, Nanette Schlernitzauer of Barberton, Mona Anderson of Laconia, NH and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She especially loved her great niece. Paulette graduated from Northwest High School Class of 1974. She loved life and lived it with a passionate zest, enjoying every day to the fullest. She fought her illness and its complications for many years, leaving a lasting impression on many people. She loved creating anything, especially food. Some of her loves were 50's and 60's music, biking, dancing, rug hooking, sewing, cruise ins, gardening and trying new recipes. Her handmade Christmas cards will surely be missed at the holidays. Paulette approached her work with the same passion, typesetting and designing many printed and online publications since she was 18. We would like to thank all of our superb medical staff that have helped us throughout this long journey. We couldn't have done all of this without them and especially without faith in our Lord and Savior. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, August 15, 2022, 11:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton with Chad Schlernitzauer officiating. Interment at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Calling Hours Sunday, 4pm to 6pm at the funeral home and also one hour prior to service time on Monday.
