Rachel McMillan passed away on July 5, 2015 in Canal Fulton, OH. She was 95.

Ms. McMillan was born on June 24, 1920 in Imboden, VA to her parents, Leonard and Maxine Bloomer. She married Elmer McMillan in 1947. The McMillans moved to Akron where Elmer worked as a barber and Rachel managed a beauty salon. She retired in 1997 and dedicated her remaining time to caring for her family.

Ms. McMillan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Donald Maurer of Canal Fulton, OH; her daughter and son-in-law. Sheila and James Holben of Doylestown, OH, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.


Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, July 9, 2015, 1pm, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton where family and friends may call from 11am to 1pm. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
