Raymond A. Hitchcock, 72 of Akron passed away peacefully Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Summa Akron City Hospital after a short illness. Raymond was born in Cambridge Ohio on July 19, 1945 to the late Margaret and Robert Ward Hitchcock. He graduated from Green High School, attended Chapel Hill Church in Akron and was employed by M. A. Knight. He is survived by his brother, Lewis (Sherry) of Barberton; his sister, Janet (Larry) Black of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service FRIDAY 1:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East (Rt.93.Canal Fulton) with Pastor Adam Harper officiating. Burial at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, Jackson Twp., Friends may call FRIDAY 12 Noon until time of service.
