Rebecca Ruth Gibson, 63, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Rose Lane Health Center. She was born July 31, 1957 in Massillon, was a life resident of the area and graduated from Massillon Washington High School. After high school Rebecca served in the US Army. She was proud of her time spent in Germany and received a marksman badge with M-16 rifle bar. She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Gibson, Sr. and brother, James W. Gibson, Jr. Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Renae (Kevin) Garrett Baker of Louisiana; grandchildren, Loren and Lailah; mother, Eva Potter of Canal Fulton and many other extended family members. Per her wishes cremation has taken place.
