Richard R. Lacey, 95 of the City of Green died Tuesday, September 6, 2011. He was born in Flushing, Ohio and had been an Akron area resident for the past 65 years. An Army Veteran of World War II, He retired from Goodyear Research after 33 years service and was a member of Green Valley United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mary Lorena Lacey and was the last of seven children of the late Richard and Martha Lacey. Richard is survived by his children, Stephen R. (Sharon) Lacey of City of Green; Sandra (Richard) Moody of Manchester; Susanne (Ronald) Pruchnicki of Medina; Grandchildren, Stephen V. (Jennifer) Lacey, Elizabeth (Tom) Brabson, Lisa (Ken) Cook, Eric, Kristyn and Scott Pruchnicki; Four Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service FRIDAY, 11:30 am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry Street (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) with Pastor Dale Gharky officiating. Burial at Zion Cemetery, Clarington, Ohio. Visitation FRIDAY from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
