Rita Wright, 84 of Canal Fulton, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025. She was born December 27, 1940 in Williamson, WV to the late Hiram and Texas (Smith) Dillon. Rita worked in the food service business and retired from Merryweather Foam. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting, card games, and playing bingo. She loved taking care of her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Ron" Wright and 11 siblings. Rita is survived by her children, Lonnie (Sharon) Wright, Pamela Wright, Lisa (James) Waldroup and James Eric (Angie) Wright; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruthie Copen; brother, Jim Dillon; niece, Debbie Inman; numerous nieces and nephews. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held SATURDAY, May 3, 2025, 12pm (Noon) at Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, OH, Pastor Whitney Owens officiating.
