Robert D. Gesaman, 78 of Clinton, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012. He was affectionately known as "Coach" to a generation of Clinton youth in the late 60's and early 70's. Heaven has received an amazing man. We know he is enjoying what he loved most, Walking, biking, playing baseball and doing yard work. All free of pain and suffering. We Love You, Dad. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Billy. He is survived by sons, Craig (Angela), Brad (Cindy); special granddaughter, Hannah, who even in his final days, he would perk up at the sight of her face or the sound of her name; brother, Bennie (Dot); sisters, Mary (Bob) Earnsberger, Bonnie Snyder and Donna (Ivan) Weber. The family would like to thank Interim Healthcare and VNS Hospice for their excellent care of our dad over the past few months. Funeral Service TUESDAY, 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) with Al Dangelo officiating and where friends may call from 10 a.m Tuesday until time of the service. Burial Newmans Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Robert's name to VNS Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333.
