Robert D. Gregg, 90 of Canal Fulton died Friday, September 20, 2013. Bob was born in Akron and had been a resident of Canal Fulton for the past 41 years. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II and had retired with 39 years service from the House of LaRose, Akron, He enjoyed yard work around his home and was an avid hunter. Preceded in death by his parents, William M. and Irene Gregg; a brother, William Gregg, Jr.; sisters Dorothy Vanke (Richard) and JoAnn Gregg. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Evelyn M. Gregg; daughters, Cheryl Wagen (Joseph), Debbie Gregg and Vickie Ripley (Mark Parcher); granddaughter, Lindsay Ripley; brother, Richard Gregg; nephew, Richard Vanke (Anne); and special friend, Carole Schoonover. A graveside service will be held FRIDAY, 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, Jackson Twp. with his brother-in-law, Rev. Paul Staats officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Hospital or "Guiding Eyes for the Blind."
