Robert J. Reid, 104 of Canal Fulton, passed away March 28, 2016 at his home. He was loved, honored and respected by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn; son, Thomas Reid (Virginia Hutchinson); daughter, Jane Reid Ulmer (John); granddaughters Katie and Frankie Abruzzino; three great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Viola (Shumaker) Reid. Bob co-founded the Clinton Community Band, played in it over 50 years and marched in the Ohio State University Band. He had a Ph.D. in Chemistry and retired from the Firestone Research Lab in 1973. There will be a private graveside service.
