Robert Lee "Bob" Slicker, Sugarcreek formerly of Canal Fulton died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017 in Winter Haven, Florida. Bob was born Feb. 9, 1948 in Massillon to the late Donald M. and Roseline (Rohr) Slicker and was the co-owner and operator of Slicker Farms. He was the member of Ohio Farm Bureau for over 12 years, retiring in 2011 and Wayne County Farm Bureau member over 40 years . He was Ohio Farm Counsel Outstanding No Till Farmer of the year in 2009 . Also a member of SS Philip & James Catholic Church, Canal Fulton. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Mary Katie (Carioti) Slicker in 2008 and is survived by his wife, Linda Mitchell; children, Amy Slicker (Tim) Wiles and Mark Slicker; stepchildren, Cheryl (Scott) Matchett and Jon (Kelly) Mitchell; grandchildren, Shelby (Brian) Patton and Robert Cutright; step-grandchildren, Amanda and Shelby Matchett, Katie, Meghan, Sean and Shannon Mitchell; great grandson, Andrew Nicholas Patton;  brother, Mike (Janice) Slicker, Fred (Alice) Slicker, Larry Donald Slicker and Bill Slicker; sister, Mary (Jim) Ogi; numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial TUESDAY 10:00 a.m. at SS Philip & James Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin McCaffrey, celebrant. Friends may call at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton MONDAY 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Burial will take place at Union Hill Cemetery, Sugarcreek.
