Dr. Robert W. "Doc" Ritchey DVM, 84 of Canal Fulton passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025. He was born April 15, 1941 to the late Joseph and Mary Agnes Ritchey and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1966. Upon graduation he served in the US Air Force. After being discharged from the service, Doc owned and operated Northwest Veterinary Hospital for 40 years. Doc had a passion for farming and older antique John Deere tractors. Doc is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Jill; children, Paulette Parham, Lonnie Parham, John Parham and Christina Ritchey; grandchildren, Jessie Parham, Jenna (Zach) Muilman, Mark Parham, Lydia Slingluff, Sarah Lama & Kate Lama and multiple great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held SATURDAY, July 19, 2025, 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12pm. Burial at Newmans Creek Cemetery.
