Roberta M. Swigart Schroeder , 102 of Canal Fulton died Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Bertie was born Feb. 25, 1910 in Franklin Twp., Ohio to the late John and Abby (Weinsheimer) Bittaker and had been a life resident of the Canal Fulton area. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church and the Northwest Stark Senior Citizens Center. Preceded in death by husbands Clell Swigart in 1958 and George Schroeder in 1971, she is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. Funeral service SATURDAY 10:00 a.m. at the St. John Lutheran Church, 336 W. Market St., Canal Fulton with Pastor Michelle Nickodemus officiating. Burial will take place at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call FRIDAY 5-7 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home , 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 527 W.
