Obituary

Ronald M. Bosley, Sr. 91 of North Lawrence, passed away at Shady Lawn Nursing Home on Sunday, June 26, 2011 after a long period of declining health. He was the son of Maynard and Susie (Dapp) Bosley born on January 7, 1920 and married MaryAnn Hodgson on November 27, 1947 and she preceded him in death on March 15, 1998. Ronald graduated from Washington High School in Massillon in 1937 and was best known for being a life long dairy farmer and for his gentle, kind demeanor. Farming was his passion as well as his church and family. He was a life-long member of the Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church where he served as choir director for 30 years. He had been a member of the Baughman Grange and director for Milk Marketing, Inc. He was also a member of the Farm Bureau and honorary member of Orrville and North Lawrence Sportman's Clubs. He is survived by a son, Ronald M. ( Norma) Bosley of North Lawrence, and a daughter, Marilyn Schrock of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Andy(Rebecca) Byall of North Lawrence, Heather Seabrook of Riverview, Florida, Cheylin (Ryan) Adkins, Lain Schrock, Chelsey Schrock and Nicole Schrock, all of Lexington, Kentucky, and four great grandchildren. Ronald was the last surviving child of Maynard and Susie Bosley and was preceded in death by brother, Stanley, who died at birth, sisters, Elizabeth Bosley, Ruth (Harold) Feichter and brother, William (Doris) Bosley.


Funeral Service will be held FRIDAY, 11 a.m. at the Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, 14411 Orrville Street, North Lawrence with Pastor Ignatius David officiating. Burial will be at Newmans Creek Cemetery. A dinner will follow the service. Friends may call THURSDAY 6-8 p.m. at the CHAPEL OF THE CROSS and Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made in Ronald's memory to the Chapel of the Cross.
