Ruth I. Harris, 94 of Canal Fulton died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at her home. She was born in Reedy, West Virginia and had been a Canal Fulton area resident for more than 60 years. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Harold E. Harris in 1988. She is survived by her children, James Harris, Mary (Tony) Trusky, both of Canal Fulton and William (Annette) Harris of Norton; Six Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren; brother, Fordyce (Fay) Wyatt and sisters, Dorothy Lee, March Cottle, Doris Miller, Elaine (Ivan) Miller and Barbara (Bernard) Greathouse; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt. 93,) Canal Fulton with Rev. Ivan Miller, Ruth's brother-in-law officiating. Burial Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. Friends may call at the funeral home WEDNESDAY 6pm-8pm and Thursday one hour prior to time of service.
