Ruth Ellen Rasch, 87 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born December 10, 1938 in Zoar, OH to the late Henry and Neva (Grim) Burkhart. Ruth co-founded and served as President of Ridge Electric for 38 years.

Ruth enjoyed traveling with her husband Paul to casinos and wineries.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James McCaulley; and sons, Joseph and Paul McCaulley. Ruth is survived by her husband, Paul Rasch; children, James McCaulley, Gregory McCaulley, Barbara (Gregory) Kohr and Sherry Kohler; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she was especially close with grandchildren, Eric (Danielle) Kohr and Brandi Kohr; great-grandchildren, Adalina and Mariska.

Per the family’s wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
