Sally Pleasant passed away peacefully with four generations of family by her side on August 4th, 2014 at the Medina County Hospice Center. Born in Terra Alta, WV on November 22, 1917, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Al Pleasant, her parents Charles and Maria Himelrich, brothers Charles, Jr. and Walter, daughter Ethel and grandson Rico. Sally is survived by her sisters Mary, Irene and Helen, daughters Geri, Patricia, Mary and Rose, son Tony and her blessed grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed writing and caring for others, especially those with personal challenges. Sally was proud of her connection to our country's history, having been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her strength was a quality she instilled in all of us. Our last commitment to her is to insure that "Can't?....Can't died a long time ago... .Never give up! May you rest in peace Mother. Funeral Service THURSDAY, Aug. 7th at 11:00 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) with Ruthellen Moore officiating. Friends may call Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
