Sandi Thomas, 62, passed away October 8, 2011 at Rose Lane Health Center in Massillon. Born in Akron on April 24, 1949 she was the daughter of the late Harold and Garnet Thomas. Sandi was proud to be an LPN for the Veteran's Hospital, was a member of Legacy Church, enjoyed doing needle work and sharing it with others and in general loved making other people happy. She is survived by her sister Ginnie (Joe) Humphries of Union, KY and cousin Ron (Ginger) Smith. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011, 11 A.M., at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93) Canal Fulton. Calling Hours Tuesday 6-8 P.M. Burial at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any local animal shelter or VNS Hospice.
