Sandra J. Myers, 72 of Canal Fulton, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. She was born December 4, 1948 in Philippi, WV to the late Wilbur and Nada (Simmons) Winans. Sandy was a Summit/Stark County resident most of her life, retired from the Akron School Board after many years of service and was a member of Victory Chapel. Her greatest joy was being with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Dean Myers and daughter, Deanna Myers. Sandy is survived by her sons, Ed and Jim Myers; grandchildren, Dakota and Logan Myers, Chayton and Cheyenne Godwin; sister, Linda Winans; brothers, Mark (Sue) and Keith (Mickey) Winans; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, July 1, 2021, 7:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sandy's name can be made to a charity of one's choice.
