Shirley E. Lindsay, 93 of Jackson Twp, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her home. Born May 10, 1922 in Massillon to the late Thomas and Ethel (Jones) McDougall, she was a life resident of the Massillon area. Shirley was a graduate of Massillon Washington High School, former member of the Canal Fulton Rotary Ann's, charter member of the Buckeye Cruiser Club and a member of St. Jacob Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, water skiing, hiking, boating and camping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Clifford; infant son, Clifford E. Jr; great-granddaughter Jade Riley Wolfarth; sister Lillian Beck and an infant brother; Survivors include daughter, Linda Kaye Stroud; son, David (Farilyn) Lindsay; grandchild, Alison (Robert) Wolfarth; great-grandchildren Caitlyn, James, Brooke, Peyton and great-great-grandchild Riley. Funeral Services will be held WEDNESDAY, December 9, 2015 , 11:00am, at St. Jacob Lutheran Church, 8697 Mudbrook St. NW, Massillon, Pastor Lynn Williamson, officiating. Friends may call ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time on Wednesday at the church. Burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon.
