Star A. Mackey, 65 of New Franklin, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Akron City Hospital. She retired from Babcox Publications after many years of service. Star enjoyed spending time with her dog Billie and her many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death be husband Samuel Mackey. Star is survived by her daughter, DeShanna Scarnecchia (Brian Ellis) and numerous other relatives. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
