Susan Lamb, 67, of Canal Fulton peacefully passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015.

Born Susan Crawford on July 30, 1947 in Frazeysburg Ohio, she worked in several hospitals over the years before becoming a stay at home mom. She helped raise many children throughout the years in her home.

A mother to everyone she met, those who were touched by her gentle heart were forever changed. In a busy world full of distractions, Susan never lost sight of what matters most: a simple hug and kiss with each hello and goodbye; an ear that listened and never judged; the patience to empathize and share - truly feel - the pains and joys experienced by others. It is with these principles that Susan nurtured the many children she cared for over the years, many of whom now as adults remain friends and acquaintances bound by the lessons, spirit and limitless love of a remarkable woman.

Susan is preceded in death by mother Mary Crawford and father James Crawford.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Lamb; children, Sara (Richard) White; John (Christina) Lamb; grandchildren Amelia, AnnaBelle, and Evan.

Calling hours will be held at Swigart-Easterling Funeral home , 624 East Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) Friday, January 23rd from 5-7pm.
