Sylvia A. Facemire, 74 of New Franklin, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was born in Ravenna to the late Roy and Margaret (Horner) Hunsicker, had been a Summit Co. resident all of her life and was a member of Manchester Trinity Chapel. She enjoyed swimming with friends at the Barberton Natatorium, making crafts, sewing, cooking, was an avid bird watcher and loved camping at her "Pretty Place".

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard "Bud" Facemire and sister, Sally Peyton. She is survived by her children, Tina (Chuck) Harmon, Julie (Tom) Diehl, Paul (Mila) Facemire, Kenneth (Susan) Facemire; grandchildren, Sarah Bohley, Steve, Chris 'Ryan", Kenny, Becka, Angela Ries, Megan Harmon and Marissa Mullinax; step-grandchildren Eric and Chad; great-grandchildren, Brock, Lucie, Melanie, Mallorie, Maverick, Colton, Kenna, Alice and Evelyn; siblings, Lillian (Richard) Morenz, Jerry (Nancy) Hunsicker, Dick (Carmen) Hunsicker, Larry Hunsicker and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private Services were held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Sylvia's name can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
