Sylvia Thomas, 103 of Manchester, passed away Saturday June 18, 2016 at Pleasant View Health Care Center. Born February 11, 1913 in Manchester where she was a resident all of her life, she worked for Cope Pharmacy starting in 1969 and worked there until she was 98 years old. Sylvia was a member of Grace Bible Church and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and baking.

Preceded in death by husband Willis and sister Betty Snyder; Sylvia is survived by her sons Larry (Micki) Thomas and Bill (Judy) Thomas; grandchildren Jodi Thomas, Jenifer (Jason) Popa, Jim (Michelle) Thomas, Cortney (Paul) Skidmore, Kristin (Ken) Teeters; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister Mildred Kincade and many nieces and nephews.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at Manchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Akron Children's Hospital, Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer & Blood Disorders, 1 Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44302.
