Tammy Lynn Gipson, 54 of Canal Fulton, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026. She was born January 26, 1972 and had been an Akron/Canal Fulton area resident all of her life. Tammy was strong in her faith and loved helping others. She was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed listening to music, and loved cows and dolphins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Marple. Tammy is survived by her daughter, Heidi (Hayden Griffith) Rakos; husband, Clady Gipson; mother, Charlotte Marple; siblings, Rev. Chester W. (Kristin) Flowers; Teresa (Rodney) LeBarre; Michelle Workman; Gina Marple and Cody Marple; nephews Chet "Quinton" Flowers and Josiah Flowers; niece Hayleigh Hawkins.

Visitation will be held SUNDAY, June 7, 2026, 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the family.
