Thane S. Smith, 54 of Clinton passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. Thane was born September 23, 1959 in Akron to the late William and Virginia (Boyd) Smith. A 1978 graduate of Revere High School, he worked for Lincoln Electric.. He is survived by his wife, Robbyn Smith; daughters, Kelsey and Megan; sisters, Lynn Van Lowe and her children, Katrina and Aaron and Cynthia Morse and her children, Brian And Craig; mother-in-law, Carol Eacott and father-in-law, Samuel Dickson and cousins including Eric and Brad Smith. Friends may call WEDNESDAY, 6pm to 8pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
