Thomas R. Norris, 82, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023. Born March 14, 1941 in Wheelersburg, OH to the late Arthur and Myrtle (McCann) Norris, he was a 1960 graduate of Northwest High School. Tom was a dedicated Christian and loved watching sports, especially the Cleveland Indians, Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. Even though Tom never had any children of his own, he loved kids and they loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur Norris, Forest "Bud" (Peggy) Norris, Ronnie Norris and Edward (Shirley) Norris. Tom is survived by his wife, Paulette (Corder) Norris; siblings, Richard (Ellen) Norris, Mable Long and Don (Robbie) Norris; sister-in-law, Laurabelle Norris; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank Manorcare of Barberton, Summa Hospice and Amherst Meadows for their care of Tom over the last dozen years. Funeral Services will be held FRIDAY, November 10, 2023, 11:00am at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Burial at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, Cuyahoga Falls. Visitation ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home.
