Obituary

Tillie C. Wagner, a life long resident of Canal Fulton found peace in the arms of our Savior, Thursday, February 6, 2014. Born in Barberton to the late Anthony and Jenny Ozbolt, Tillie was a long time member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church and current member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Wagner; survivors include daughters Sandy Yingling of Manchester, Becky Sofka of Westlake; son Jim Wagner of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and brother William Ozbolt of Barberton. The family would especially like to thank the staff at Crossroads Hospice and Chapel Hill Community. "God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered, "Come with Me." With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away. Although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best." Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Saturday, February 8, 2014, 11:00 am, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Rd, Akron. Interment at Sts. Philip and James Church Cemetery. Calling Hours SATURDAY 9:30am to 10:30am at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93) Canal Fulton.
