Todd A. Simmons, 55 of Akron died Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Todd was a graduate of Northwest High School and worked for several plastic shops in the Akron area. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard and is survived by his mother, Dorothy Simmons; brother, Rodney Simmons; son, Eric Higgins and two granddaughters. Funeral Service will be held MONDAY, 11 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton) with Rev. Kathryn Moody-Arndt officiating. Friends may call Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Canal Fulton United Methodist Church, 363 W.
