Tonya R. Manda, 66, of New Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Born in Tazewell County, Virginia, Tonya was the daughter of the late Janice Owens. She spent the majority of her life in the Akron/New Franklin area, where she made lasting memories with her family and friends.

Tonya will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and quick sense of humor. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome, and her warmth touched countless lives. Whether it was through a home-cooked meal or simply her listening ear, Tonya made sure those around her felt loved.

Tonya had a passion for crafting, cooking, and baking. She especially enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, Key West and Hilton Head, always embracing the opportunity to explore and relax. At home, she found joy in the company of her beloved pets—her cats, Sassy and Lucy, and her dog, Skittles.

In addition to her mother, Tonya was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Taylor, and sisters, Sandy Compton and Sandra Phipps.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 45 years, William "Bill" Manda; daughter, Katelyn (Frank) Lu; grandson, Dylan Reynolds; and sisters, Carolyn Compton-Foster, Brenda Eddy and Sister in law Janet Graff.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93), Canal Fulton. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM.

Tonya will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
