Vera Mae Mills, 80 of Chapel Hill Community went to be with the Angels on Thursday, August 11, 2011. She was born in Wingo, Kentucky and had been a resident of Chapel Hill for the past 20 years, where she belonged to the "Bell Choir" and was active in life at Chapel Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jewel (Lewis) Mills; brother, Edmon Mills; sisters, Frances Merical and Ruth Russell. She is survived by her sisters, Margaret Daniels, of Canal Fulton; Ila Sue Armbruster of Barberton; Ethel Young of Butler, Pennsylvania: nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews and her many friends at Chapel Hill. Funeral Service MONDAY, 1:30 p.m. at Chapel Hill Community, 12200 Strausser Street NW, Canal Fulton, OH with Rev. Sandra Hutchinson officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Chapel Hill Community. Friends may call MONDAY from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Chapel Hill.
