Vera L. Snyder, 75 of New Franklin, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021. She was born May 12, 1946 to the late Maurice and Thelma (Holderbaum) Rohe. Vera was very active with her son's activities. She was a room mother, school volunteer and scorekeeper for his baseball team. Later in life she worked for various local pharmacies. Vera enjoyed reading, shopping, computer and video games and was passionate about movies. She was a lover of all sorts of animals and was an avid Browns, Indians and Cavs fan. Vera's greatest attribute was helping family members in time of need. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Gary W. Snyder; sister, Peggy Franklin and brother-in-law Daryl Snyder. Vera is survived by her son, Gary Snyder II; sister, Barbara Unkefer; sister-in-law, Cheryl Franks and family; brothers-in-law, Dennis and Wesley Snyder and their families; niece, Nicole Kissner and family. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Vera's name can be made to any local animal charity.
