Wanda Gail Hare, 83, passed away on Sept. 21, 2024 at Chapel Hill Community. She was born July 3, 1941 in Widen, WV to the late Benjamin C. and Glada H. (Hamrick) Triplett. Growing up she lived in WV, PA and OH and was a Canal Fulton resident for the past 51 years. Gail had a great love of family and always enjoyed holiday parties, activities and visits with family and many friends. She was always kind and generous to everyone she knew. She greatly enjoyed gardening, reading mystery books, art, music, going to the casinos with her husband Don and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Hare Jr.; son, David E. Rex; grandson, Daniel G. Hare and son-in-law, Greg Hoffman. Gail is survived by her children, Mitchel (Teresa) Rex, Rae Ann Hoffman; stepdaughters, Colleen (Cecil) Croston, Janice (Doug) Hare; grandchildren, Shawna DeStefano (Jesse Stayrook), William Holshoy, Kayla (Justin) Taylor, Tyler Hare, Anja (Sean) Graham, Elena Rex and David Rex; great-grandchildren, Anthony DeStefano, William DeStefano, Reta Stayrook, Jesse Stayrook, Parker Graham and Summer Graham; sisters, Mary (Ken) Downs and Brenda (Dewayne) Greene; sisters-in-law, Donna (Jerry) Sulzbach and Doree Woog. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, September 30, 2024, 11:00am at Orchard Hill Church, 2545 W. Comet Rd., Clinton. Burial at Clinton Cemetery. Visitation SUNDAY, September 29, 2024, 2pm to 4pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton.
