Obituary

Walter R. Brosch, 86 Canal Fulton formerly of Akron died Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Walter was born December 15, 1931 in Akron to the late Emil and Mary (Pringle) Brosch. He was a graduate of Hower Vocational School, a veteran of the Army during the Korean War and a member of VFW # 9795. Walter was the founder and former owner of Eagle Systems, Akron and enjoyed his family, fishing and tinkering.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo; son, Timothy R. Brosch; five brothers and one sister. He is survived by sons, Doug (Kathy Smith) Brosch and Joseph (Aimee Nagy) Brosch; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.. Funeral service MONDAY 1:00 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East, (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. Friends may call at the funeral home MONDAY one hour prior to time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Asso., Summa Hospice or Palliative Care at Summa Akron City Campus.
