Willard "Burt" Hyre, 77, of Hampton Twp, PA, formerly of Akron, passed away March 20, 2013. Beloved husband of Teri (Benton) Hyre. Loving father of Matt (Lou), Marc, Jerry, and Kayla Hyre. Brother of Phil, Roy, Susie, Patty, and Frank. Also survived by four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and "Pampa's" little shadow, Dominic. Burt was preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Bonnie Hyre, and siblings William and Oneda. Burt worked for Pepsi Cola Co. for 40 years as a sales representative and following retirement became a faithful volunteer for the Network of Hope Food Bank. He was an avid outdoorsman and an expert at tying dry flies and building arrows. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning. Calling Hours will be held Sunday, March 24, 2013, 5 to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt 93), Canal Fulton. Graveside Service Monday, 11am at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Network of Hope Food Bank, 2326 Duncan Ave., Allison Park, PA, 15101.
