William F. Dunn, Jr. 83 of Jackson Township formerly of Canal Fulton died Tuesday, April 17, 2012. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Canal Fulton area since 1969. He was a graduate of St. Vincent College, Latrobe, Pennsylvania, served in the US Army and retired in 1983 from Babcock & Wilcox Co, Barberton, where he worked in Labor Relations. He was a member of SS Philip & James Catholic Church,, Knights of Columbus #11037 and VFW #9795, both of Canal Fulton. He was a devoted Notre Dame football fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, William F. and Eleanor Margaret Dunn and sister, Mary Martha O'Neil. Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eileen S. Dunn; Children, John (Jennifer) Dunn; Kathleen Tracy (Earl) Wagner; Thomas (Sherri) Dunn; Patrick (Michele) Dunn; Judy (David) Kansa. Seven Grandchildren; brother, Dr. Joseph P. (Gale) Dunn, nieces and nephews. Mass of the Christian Burial SATURDAY, 10:30 a.m. at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, 412 North High Street, Canal Fulton with Fr. Thomas Acker, S.J. officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call FRIDAY 6-8 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton).
