William J. Griffiths, Jr., 71, passed away, Saturday, March 26, 2016. Born in Akron to the late William Sr. & Norma (Stemple) Griffiths, he had been an Akron area resident all of his life. William retired from RCA Rubber Co. with over 37 years of service and was also a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother Richard Griffiths. He is survived by sons, Shane (Sharon) Griffiths and Mike Griffiths; grandchildren, Evan, Emily, Ashton, Xavier and Remington; brothers, Timothy Griffiths and Ralph Griffiths.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
