William L. Lucas, 68 of Canton, formerly of Akron died Monday, September 21, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born April 26, 1947 in Akron to the late Eldon and Ruth (Adkins) Lucas. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, worked as a diesel mechanic for 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. William is survived by his wife, Anna Marie; son, William D.; grandchildren, Ashley, Jeriann and Christian; siblings, Eldon, Paul, Mary, Alice, Robert, Delores, Frank and Marsha and dear friends Dale, Billie Jo, Beulah and Bill.

A Memorial Service will be held SUNDAY, October 4, 2015 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 East Cherry St. (Rt.93, Canal Fulton). Service will follow at 4:00pm with Rev. Ken Morrison officiating.
