Obituary
William "Bill" Vanzant, 66 of Canal Fulton passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
He was born on June 20, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harold & Margaret (Smithson) Vanzant. Bill retired from the Department of Defense in 2011 after 28 years of service and was a proud USMC veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his wife Karla and brother, Ken. Bill is survived by his son, Scott (Lisa) Vanzant and brother, Ray (Joy) Vanzant.
Friends may call SUNDAY, Sept. 13th from 1pm to 3pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93, Canal Fulton). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: MarineToys for Tots Foundation, 18251 Quantico Gateway Dr. Triangle, VA 22171-1776 in Bill's memory.
