Wilma J. Haer 83 of Clinton died Saturday, May 4, 2013 after a lengthy illness.Wilma was born in Barberton, Ohio on July 26, 1929 to the late Thomas and Nellie Ward and was a longtime resident of the Luna Lake Community. She attended Barberton High School and later in life obtained her diploma. For many years she worked at Yoder Brothers in Barberton, then became a stay at home Mom to her only child. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Haer Jr.; stepmother, Mamie Ward; brother, Willard and Glenn; sisters, Virginia, Marian and Wanda. She is survived by her dearly loved son, Thomas D. Haer of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Geraldine Dronebarger and Margeret Lesney; brother, Franklin (Delores) Ward and numerous nieces and nephews, who knew her as their dear Aunt Dink. The family expresses its thanks to the staff at the Orchards of Ridgewood for their care over the last year. Funeral services WEDNESDAY 11:00 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) with Norman Maynard officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home TUESDAY 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to time of service.
