Winifred "Winnie" Case, 83 of Canal Fulton formerly of Akron, died Thursday, December 29, 2011. Winnie was born in Webster Springs, West Virginia on March 10, 1928 and had been a longtime resident of Akron before moving the Chapel Hill Community, Canal Fulton in 2004. She retired from Akron City Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn in 2006. Winnie is survived by her children, Glenn H. "Butch" Case II, Ralph W. "Bub" Case and David M. Case, all of Akron; Belinda (Ben) Easterling of Canal Fulton; nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; brother, James "Sonny" (Lula) Facemire and sister, Janie Hughes. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Chapel Hill Community for their love and care of Winnie. Funeral Service 11 a.m. on TUESDAY, January 3, 2012 at Chapel Hill Community, 12200 Strausser Street NW, Canal Fulton with Rev. Sandra Hutchinson officiating. Burial Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Cuyahoga Falls. Friends may call TUESDAY from 10 a.m. until time of the service at Chapel Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chapel Hill Activities Fund.
