Aubrey Lee Beckner "Beck", age 88 of Canal Fulton, passed away peacefully in his home on August 16, 2021. He was born on March 28, 1933 in Roanoke, Virginia to Claude W. Beckner and Mary Elsie Beckner. He has been a proud resident of Canal Fulton for over 50 years. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and later retired from Goodyear Aerospace/Loral Systems as a maintenance electrician. He was also proud to be a skilled trades chairman at the UAW Local 856. Aubrey was faithful believer in Jesus Christ and a devoted husband to Mary Ellen Beckner, who survives him. He was a loving father to Vicky L. Coffman (Mark) and Douglas M. Beckner. He was also a proud grandfather to Michael Coffman, Lindsay Sage (Greg), Amanda Beckner, Kaylee Beckner and Niki Beckner (Neel Gangoda), along with his 7 great-grandchildren; Izzy, Carter, Bryn, Cohen, Emersyn, Niko and Norah. He also leaves behind sister, Bernice Guthrie of Richmond, VA. Aubrey is preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Claude W. Beckner and Tyrone F. Beckner. Funeral Services will be held MONDAY, August 23, 2021, 12:00pm (NOON) at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Dave Dahlstein officiating. Calling Hours ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the funeral home. Burial with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
