Charles D. Phillips, 81 of Canal Fulton, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was born August 19, 1939 in Akron and had been a Federal employee for 25 years. Charles volunteered at the Canal Fulton library for many years. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jolynn (Mayfield) Phillips; children, Julie (Rex) Freeman, David (Corinna) Phillips, Michele (Patrick) Reed and Dawn (Andy) Cazzolli; grandchildren, Megan, Brian, Taylor, Hailey, Logan, Greyson, Sophia and five great-grandchildren.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. His ashes will be placed at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
