Claude Allen Hale, 85, of New Franklin, left his home on earth to go to his heavenly home January 19, 2021. He was born in Russell Springs, KY on April 2, 1935. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, stationed in Great Falls, Montana. Claude was an active member at Manchester United Methodist Church where he was scoutmaster of Troop 118 for eight years. He retired from Polysar Rubber Co. after 26 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Claude and Ovalene Hale as well as brother Jackie Darnel. Survivors include his loving wife Dee; sons, Mike (Angie) and Jack (Kathleen) all of New Franklin; sisters, Doris Dawson of Herndon, KY and Brenda Towe of Madisonville, KY. He was also affectionately known as "Papa" to his surviving grandchildren, Michael (Jacqueline) of Austin, TX, Cory (Casey) of Roanoke, TX, Michael Lynn (Evan) Blackburn of Minerva, OH, Jessica (Justin) Calvert of Uniontown, OH and great-grandchildren, Abel, Ezra, Isaac Blackburn; Easton, Ivy Hale; Brinley, Scarlett Calvert and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Ohio Living Hospice for their wonderful care of Claude.
Private family services will be held with burial at Manchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Manchester United Methodist Church, 5625 Manchester Rd., New Franklin, OH 44319.
