Frances M. Schneider, 95 of Canal Fulton, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at her home. Frances was born December 9, 1925 to the late Frank and Lena (Edie) Nussbaumer. She grew up in Massillon, lived in Newton Falls, OH for 52 years and has spent the past 24 years in Canal Fulton. She was very active in her parishes St. Joseph's in Newton Falls and SS Philip and James in Canal Fulton. She loved little children, cooking, sewing and in her youth enjoyed ice skating. Frances' greatest joy was spending time with her family; she was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Clement R. Schneider; sisters, Lena Mae Shanklin, Norma Wyles and brother, James Nussbaumer. Frances is survived by her children, Raymond (Evelyn) Schneider, Sylvia Schneider, Ken (Jean) Schneider, Clem (Debbie) Schneider, Mary Ann Schneider Neale; Joe (Mary Angela) Schneider, Frank Schneider and Donna (Dave) Burwell; 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; sister, Donna Barahona; brother Frank Nussbaumer; numerous nieces and nephews. Due to Covid restrictions Mass of Christian Burial will be held for family only, FRIDAY, March 12, 2021, 11:00am at SS Philip and James Catholic Church, 412 North High Street, Fr. Kevin McCaffrey celebrant. Burial at Calvary Cemetery, Massillon. Public Visitation, Friday, 9:30am to 10:30am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SS Philip and James Catholic Church or Right To Life of Northeast Ohio, 572 W Market St # 2, Akron, OH 44303.
