James B. Bedlion "Jim", 51 of Marshallville, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020. Born on July 10, 1968 in Akron, he had been a Marshallville resident all of his life and was a 1986 graduate of Smithville High School and Wayne County Schools Career Center in truck mechanics. Jim was passionate about truck mechanics, racing, watching John Wayne black and white westerns and mudding in his truck. He enjoyed playing softball and coaching softball. He was a coach for the 2011 18u NSA World Series Champion Twisters. Most importantly though he especially loved his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Herbert C. Bedlion; mother, Emogene (Meade) Simpson, stepfather, Ed Simpson; uncles, Delbert (Adeline) Bedlion and Robert Meade. Jim is survived by his partner, Kelly Boggs; son, Dustin (Lisa) Bedlion; daughters, Arielle (Sarah) Bedlion, Gabrielle (Coty) Moore and Mackenzie Gene "Mac" (Paul) Kelbly; seven grandchildren; brother, Burt (Autumn) Bedlion; three nieces; friends, Brandon Schattschneider and Rod Brillhart. Per his wishes private family services were held.
