Obituary
James “Ron” Wright, 85 of Canal Fulton, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023. He was born January 21, 1938 in Jenkins, KY to the late Garland and Bessie Wright. Ron was honorably discharged from the US Army and retired from Terex/GM with over 17 years of service. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing and shooting guns. Ron enjoyed story telling but most importantly spending time with his family and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Wright. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Rita Wright; children, Lonnie (Sharon) Wright, Pamela Wright, Lisa (James) Waldroup and James Eric (Angie) Wright; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Maryann) Wright and Tom (Jeanie) Wright; sisters, Annette Curry and Loretta (R.B.) Smith and niece, Debbie Inman.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Private services will be held for the family with burial at Clinton Cemetery.
