Jennie Lorena Jenkins

Jennie L. Jenkins, 84 of Lakewood, Ohio, passed away Friday February 25, 2022 after experiencing a brief period of metastatic cancer. Jennie has lived in Lakewood for over 50 years. She worked as a computer operator at Ohio garment rental for over 20 years, then worked in the auto industry as an office manager and property manager for over 20 years as well. Jennie was always kind to others and strongly believed in helping homeless animals and wildlife. As a result, she fostered many homeless animals over the years. Jennie liked reading mysteries, traveling, listening to country music, and loved tomatoes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in her death by 4 brothers Clifford Jenkins, John Jenkins, Jimmy Jenkins & Charley Jenkins. Jennie is survived by her daughter Lila Jenkins of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and her brother Arthur Jenkins of Beaverdams, New York.
Calling Hours Thursday, March 3, 2022  from 6-7pm with funeral service to immediately follow at the Swigart Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E (Route 93) Canal Fulton, Ohio. Burial and graveside service will occur at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Corning, New York, Friday March 4, 2022 at 2:00pm.
