Jonathan J. Finna

Jonathan J. Finna, 61 of Canal Fulton died Thursday, February 11, 2021 at his home.  Jonathan was born October 8, 1959 in Canton, Ohio to the late Jesse and Dorothe Finna, Jr. and was life resident of the area. He was a 1978 graduate of Northwest High School, received his bachelors degree in Communications and Political Science from the Ohio State University and  a Doctorate of Law from the University of Akron.  While at Northwest High School, he was an announcer for the school's radio station WNWR and also did radio announcing while at Ohio State.  He was very interested in Civil War history and was a kind, caring and gracious uncle to his four nieces and one nephew.  Jonathan is survived by his sister, Maura Finna; nieces, Kalie Brooks, Erin Sheehan, Courtney Sheehan, Maggie Miller and nephew, Connor Sheehan.  There will be a Celebration of Life at the convenience of the family and his final resting place will be with his parents at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
