Joseph J. Denchik went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the age of 94 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris M. Denchik and his brother Paul Denchik. He is survived by his four children, Joyce (Chuck) Fouts, Mark (Donna) Denchik, Janet (Robert) Anderson, and JoAnne (Greg) Will. He also leaves 7 Grandchildren, 15 Great grandchildren, and one Great great grandchild.
Joseph served his country during World War II including landing at Omaha Beach on D-Day in the first wave, and battling all the way through France and Germany, including the Battle of the Bulge, for which he was decorated many times. Joseph retired from Lockheed-Martin (Goodyear Aerospace) as a Design Engineer in 1988 after 37 years of service. Joseph was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Canal Fulton, Ohio. At the Church, he had many friends and served in a number of capacities over the years. Interment will be at the Western Reserve Cemetery, where he will join his wife, Doris, on Wednesday, October 14 at 10:30 am with full military honors.
